Section 01
This Privacy Policy applies to Numar’s public website, audit requests, newsletter signups, chat conversations, and other inbound business inquiries. If we later provide services under a separate client agreement, that agreement may contain additional privacy, security, or confidentiality terms.
Numar is a Florida business focused on home-service contractors in Southwest Florida. This notice is written for the way this site currently operates, not as a generic template.
Section 02
Information you give us directly may include your name, business name, email address, phone number, trade, service area, questionnaire answers, selected tools, wishlist items, and anything else you choose to submit through a form, email, or chat conversation.
When you request an audit, we may collect additional business workflow information so we can understand how your front office currently works and where the operational gaps are.
We also collect limited technical and anti-abuse data, such as IP address, request origin, timestamps, and browser or device context, to keep forms working, rate-limit abuse, and investigate suspicious activity.
We do not intentionally ask for government ID numbers, payment-card numbers, precise geolocation, health information, or other sensitive personal data through the public website.
Section 03
We use information to respond to inquiries, deliver audits, communicate about services, send the newsletter you signed up for, operate the site, secure the site, improve our workflows, and keep records of business communications.
If you provide a phone number or email address, we may use it to follow up about your request, scheduling, service questions, or related business communications. If we ever send promotional texts, we will do so only with the level of consent required by applicable law.
We may also use information internally to understand which pages, offers, or workflows are helping prospects most, to detect spam or misuse, and to troubleshoot errors.
Section 04
We share information only as reasonably necessary to run the business and operate the website. That includes service providers that host data, power forms, support messaging, process communications, or help us administer our systems.
Our current stack may include providers such as Supabase for data storage and Intercom for website messaging and related support workflows. We may also use email, workflow, hosting, or contractor-operations tools over time. Providers are expected to process information for us and not for their own unrelated purposes.
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process; to protect the rights, safety, or security of Numar, our users, or others; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, asset sale, or similar business transaction.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Section 05
The website and our providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the site functioning, maintain chat sessions, measure basic interactions, remember preferences, and reduce spam or abuse.
If you use the on-site messenger, Intercom or similar providers may process your messages and set cookies or similar identifiers so the conversation continues across pages or return visits.
You can usually control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect chat, form, or site functionality.
Section 06
If you subscribe to field notes or other marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message or by emailing us.
If you contact us or request an audit, we may email, call, or text you about that request and related business services. Transactional or relationship messages may still be sent when necessary to handle your inquiry, even if you opt out of marketing messages.
We aim to follow U.S. email and calling/texting rules, including honoring unsubscribe requests and using the level of consent required by applicable law for promotional communications.
Section 07
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including to respond to inquiries, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the business.
Newsletter records are generally kept until you unsubscribe or we retire the list. Inquiry and audit records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary for follow-up, service history, backups, fraud prevention, or legal and operational recordkeeping.
Section 08
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. That includes access controls, provider-level safeguards, form protections, and rate limiting.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If we learn of a security incident affecting personal information, we will investigate and provide notices required by applicable law.
Section 09
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions and verification. You may also ask us to stop sending marketing emails.
Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply to the processing at issue, you may have additional rights such as data portability, appeal rights, or the right to opt out of certain uses of personal data. We review and respond to requests in light of applicable law and the nature of our relationship with you.
To help protect privacy, we may ask for information needed to verify your identity and authority before fulfilling a request. If you use an authorized agent where law permits, we may ask for written proof of authorization.
Section 10
This site is built for business owners and adult decision-makers, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the public website.
Section 11
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, our service providers, or the way the website works. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
